Reactive Graphics

Project Manager & Web Developer | March 2017 - Present

At Reactive Graphics, for the past 3 years I have been the lead project manager overseeing all internal and external development as well as taking on web development projects myself. My daily work day could include anything from initial client meetings, scoping out work, providing quotes, creation of sitemaps and wireframes, building fully functional WordPress websites from PSD files, overseeing and project managing any development work from overseas companies, creating newsletters, client CMS training and much more. I also trained and managed any office interns who joined the team to help support with day to day tasks such as backups, blogs, social media etc.

Prior to joining the company all development work was done externally. As my role adapted over time, I begin reporting directly to the director and began doing 90% off all development myself in-house. This helped save the company valuable time, recourses and ensured higher quality work which resulted in much happier clients.

Luxury Holidays

Web Manager & IT Executive | February 2014 – March 2017

At my time at Luxury Holidays I managed a small team maintaining all of the company’s websites as well as ensuring all day-to-day IT needs were met.

Daily duties would include hands on development on all digital projects (including the re-development of the company’s two main websites), user monitoring, suggesting improvements to increase conversion rates and ensuring all of the best on-page SEO practices are being used. I would also manage all user’s workstations, setting up new users on the company’s server, creating email accounts and day to day IT support and training.

Wudyo

Shopify Store | October 2016 - November 2017

Setup of my own Shopify store selling wooden accessories such as watches and sunglasses, all of which were carefully sourced from AliExpress. Whilst running the store, I spent time monitoring users and creating strategies to increase traffic and overall maximise the stores sales. This included using heat maps, up-selling products to customers, abandoned cart monitoring, remarketing and spit testing Facebook and Instagram Ads (spending between £1,000 to £3,000 per month) to maximise sales. I was also the point of contact for all customer support answering any customer questions, proving status updates and issuing refunds when required.
